Still Into You | Psalm 116

When was the last time you were truly amazed by God? This week we explored Psalm 116 and discovered a powerful truth: our vision of God has grown too small. Not because God has changed, but because we've stopped seeing Him for who He truly is.

The psalmist sings "I love the Lord" not out of obligation, but because he's encountered a God who bends down to listen, who inclines His ear to hear our prayers. Imagine that: the God who spoke galaxies into existence kneels down to hear you. He doesn't just tolerate your prayers, He delights in drawing near.

And here's the incredible part: before we could ever lift the cup of salvation, Jesus first drank the cup of God's wrath on our behalf. At the cross, love and faithfulness met. Righteousness and mercy kissed. Your soul delivered from death, your eyes from tears, your feet from stumbling... all because of Him.

A greater vision of God produces a greater passion for God. Come see Him clearly, and everything changes.
