Serving Joyfully | Philippians 2:19-30
What fills you, fuels you. If you are filled with self-focus, that is what drives your life. But what if joy is found not by looking inward, but upward and outward?
In Philippians 2, Paul holds up Timothy and Epaphroditus as living examples of faithful service. Timothy was so others-focused that Paul said he had no one like him. Epaphroditus risked his life simply to deliver a gift and care for a friend in prison. No grand gesture -- just faithful, humble service.
Jesus said it plainly in Matthew 25 -- the call is not to be perfect or the most talented. It is to be faithful with what God has placed in your hands, right where you are.
If you are lacking joy today, ask yourself: who are you serving? Faithfulness in the little things is where joy takes root.
