SEARCH TEAM UPDATE 12/03/2018
On behalf of the Search Team, I want to update you on the progress and status of our Lead Pastor search. Since my last update to the congregation, we have continued to make good progress toward several goals that will ultimately lead us to the Man whom God has chosen for us. I will briefly touch on these accomplished goals and results.
We have now posted our open position at 8 seminarys of our choice. We also have posted on multiple national posting boards. This combination of both Seminaries and National job boards are producing a broad breath of applicants. We view this as a good thing, giving us broad exposure in the marketplace.
We have received in excess of 125 resumes for evaluation. Of those received, we are looking closely at 7 applicants and have reached out to 4 of them to take additional steps in our application process. Please remember that these steps take time as we dialog with applicants and move forward in our process.
Please continue to hold up the search team, our applicants, our staff and our congregation in prayer as we work through this process.
